Jebolan Disney ini balik dengan banyak perubahan, mulai dari rambut, gaya berpakaian, tingkah laku, selera bermusik, konsep Music Video, dan lainnya. Kaget? Gua juga. Apalagi pas dia twerking di MTV Video Music Awards 2013. Hahaha. Btw, waktu itu dia ngebawain lagu ini, We Can't Stop. Yap, lagu ini menandai muncul kembalinya Miley sebagai figur musik yang fenomenal. aih bahasa gua.

Lagu berdurasi 3 menit 52 detik ini adalah lead-single dari album Bangerz. Dirilis musim panas tahun ini (2013 -red), We Can't Stop mendulang sukses yang luar biasa selama tahun ini. Dengan memadukan musik pop dengan hip-hop, Miley mencoba keluar dari jalur amannya saat masih jadi anak Disney.
Lagu dibuka dengan hook yang diturunkan pitch-nya dilanjutkan dengan vokal Miley yang diiringi dengan beat dan permainan keyboard. Kemudian ditambah beat yang berat di bagian pre-chorus dan suara Miley yang manis mengisi bagian chorus. Bagian tebaik lagu ini adalah pada bridge lagu dimana Miley mulai menjangkau nada-nada tinggi, dan ditutup dengan chorus yang ngga terlalu meledak-ledak tapi tetep bagus.
Lagu ini bercerita tentang kebebasan, gaada yang bisa ngatur kita karena ini hidup kita. Gaada yang bisa nge-judge kita kecuali Tuhan. Begitu aja, sih. "Menurut gua" kalo didenger-denger lagu ini mirip tipe lagu-lagunya Rihanna. Ngga tau kenapa, kaya ada kemiripan sama "Umbrella".
