MKTO - God Only Knows

Tony Oller dan Malcolm David Kelley makin liar aja, bro-sist. Duo MKTO ini kembali merilis single ketiga untuk debut album mereka. Satu hits pop, God Only Knows, dipilih untuk melanjutkan demam MKTO setelah Thank You dan Classic.

Emang udah ngga terlalu baru karena udah dirilis dari akhir November 2013 lalu. Tapi gua pengen aja ngereview lagu yang satu ini. Dibuka dengan hook dari Tony Oller dan petikan gitar yang lembut, dilanjutkan dengan chorus yang catchy dan kembali ke hook yang manis dan chorus lagi. Gua suka bridge lagu ini. Suaranya si Tony Oller ternyata bisa dibikin lembut, agak rapuh, plus manis. HAHAHA. Sumpah gua iri maksimal sama suaranya. Oiya, sorry buat Bang Malcolm, gatau kenapa gua ngerasa effort lu ngga terlalu keliatan, hmmm.

Cerita di lagu ini sih sederhana, yaitu kecintaan seseorang yang bener-bener besar pada seseorang (atau mungkin sesuatu). Sampe-sampe dia butuh banget sama orang/benda itu. Intinya, si orang ntuh bener-bener addict sama suatu hal. 

Kalo di MV-nya sih Tony sama Malcolm berebut kaset video game. Tony ngga fokus pas lagi nge-date sama ceweknya sementara Malcolm ngga fokus pas kerja, semua gara-gara kaset video game. Mereka sampe gontok-gontokan berebut kaset, tapi akhirnya... TONTON SENDIRI AJA. Hahaha.

Personally, gua paling suka "God Only Knows" ini dibandingkan Thank You sama Classic. Tapi selera orang kan beda-beda. Gua suka belom tentu lu suka. Btw, kalo mau download lagunya di sini.
